about me.

After 10+ years in relationship and dating violence work, i took my interest in research and sex and left the country. Four years later, armed with community-based research experience and an expanded view of sex and sex work, i started a PhD program with an aim at understanding how the limitations our culture and policies place on sex, sexuality, and reproduction lead to both harm and unfulfilling relationships.

Over the 9 years i spent completing my doctoral research, i realized that the best way i could use all these years spent learning was through community. Community formed directly with people. Now, after interning with a renowned sex therapy practice and establishing my own approach to anti-oppressive psychotherapy, i’ve come to know a few things…

learning never stops
i haven’t mastered every step or learned every tool. i am also, always still healing in my own ways. i will always be honest and continue to be open to supporting your best path to the sex you want!

here we are real
i bring many years of epxerience and education to this work but in the end, we’re real here. bring your you, your colorful language, your personality, and your truth.

it’s personal
i’ve seen directly how internal shame, fear, and past trauma can limit connection and pleasure…pleasure is resistance.

you are responsible for your healing
early life gets us all; in big T trauma and little t trauma ways. we aren’t always responsible for what has happened to us, we are capable of learning how to ensure we heal and get the most out of life.
